Type specimen: LACM 150606, an osteoderm (semimovable osteoderm). Its type locality is Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289), which is in a Rupelian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Yahuarango Formation of Peru.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Santa Rosa (LACM Loc. 6289)
