Sister taxon: Bulweria bulwerii
Type specimen: USNM 176020, a limb element (right tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Sugarloaf Hill, site 1, which is in a Pleistocene eolian sandstone in Saint Helena.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
