Type specimen: MPEF-PV 4279, a mandible (left dentary with roots of p3 and complete m1-3). Its type locality is La Cancha, which is in a Tinguirirican terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at La Cancha
