Type specimen: MPEF-PV 3837, a tooth (right m1 lacking the hypoconid). Its type locality is La Cantera, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at La Cantera
