Type specimen: SGOPV 3122, a carapace. Its type locality is Tinguiririca Locality Sets 1 & 2, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Abanico Formation of Chile.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution:

• Deseadan of Argentina (1 collection)

• Oligocene of Argentina (2), Chile (1)

• Tinguirirican of Argentina (1)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
