Sister taxa: Didolodus minor, Didolodus multicuspis
Type specimen: MPEF 7856, a tooth (left M2? with lingual root). Its type locality is El Nuevo, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at El Nuevo
