Type specimen: MPEF-PV 6129, a tooth (right upper M1). Its type locality is La Cantera, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at La Cantera
