Sister taxa: Anisolambda fissidens, Josepholeidya deculca, Josepholeidya adunca
Type specimen: AMNH 28503, a mandible (left lower jaw with m1-3). Its type locality is Cañadón Vaca, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Argentina (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
