Sister taxon: Cypraeogemmula liliputana

Type specimen: UCMP 33588, a shell. Its type locality is UCMP 3607 - South bank of Cowlitz River at old Gries Ranch, which is in a Priabonian marine sandstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.

Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (5: Washington collections)
