Type specimen: MPEF-PV 10682, a set of teeth (left M1-M2). Its type locality is Cabeza Blanca, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial shale/claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Cabeza Blanca
