Type specimen: IVPP V5248, a mandible (rigth jaw with p4, m1-3). Its type locality is Dajian of Wangjiazhai Village, Xijiadian Town, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Yuhuangding Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of China (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
