Type specimen: IVPP V 5347, a mandible (left lower jaw with p4-m3). Its type locality is Lingcha, which is in an Eocene terrestrial siliciclastic in the Lingcha Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Lingcha
