Type specimen: MPM-PV 3511, a partial skull (incomplete cranium). Its type locality is Puesto Estancia La Costa Fossiliferous Level 5.3, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Puesto Estancia La Costa Fossiliferous Level 5.3
