Type specimen: MLP 79-VI-16-1, a skull (almost complete skull). Its type locality is Carahuasi, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Carahuasi
