Type specimen: MLP 57-XI-9-2, a partial skull (fragment of left maxillary with M1-2, fragment of right mandibular ramus with posterior half of m1 and m2-3 complete, isolated left m1). Its type locality is Arroyo Chasicó, which is in a Chasicoan floodplain sandstone in the Arroyo Chasicó Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore

Distribution: found only at Arroyo Chasicó
