Type specimen: LACMIP 11410, a shell. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1065, Santa Ana Mountains, which is in a Turonian shoreface sandstone in the Ladd Formation of California.
Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at CIT loc. 1065, Santa Ana Mountains
