Type specimen: RGM 315 208, a shell. Its type locality is Mandul Island, Borneo, which is in a Miocene marine marl/claystone in the Mandul Marl Formation of Indonesia.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at Mandul Island, Borneo
