Type specimen: UF 280128, a tooth (left upper first molar ). Its type locality is Lirio Norte (Las Cascadas Fm), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial tuff in the Las Cascadas Formation of Panama.

Ecology: arboreal frugivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Lirio Norte (Las Cascadas Fm)
