Type specimen: IVPP V 944, a partial skeleton (anterior two-thirds of carapace). Its type locality is Gaozhuang Fauna (Teilhard de Chardin's Zone II), Yushe County, Shanxi Province, which is in the Ruscinian of horizon China.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Gaozhuang Fauna (Teilhard de Chardin's Zone II), Yushe County, Shanxi Province
