Type specimen: Anhui Geological Museum AGB6265, a skeleton. Its type locality is South Majiashan quarry (Nanlinghu Fm), which is in a Spathian basinal (siliciclastic) marl in the Nanlinghu Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at South Majiashan quarry (Nanlinghu Fm)
