Type specimen: IVPP V4313, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Shangxialou (71016), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Wanghudun Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Shangxialou (71016)
