Type specimen: IRSNB R245 (prev. BOU-AR-40-RS) (incomplete right dentary lacking anterior part). Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Boutersem TGV
