Type specimen: IVPP V22730, a tooth (Right M1). Its type locality is Lijiawa mammalian fossil locality, which is in an Oligocene fluvial mudstone/marl in the Caijiachong Formation of China.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Lijiawa mammalian fossil locality
