Type specimen: WIF/A 416, a mandible. Its type locality is 3.5 km ESE of Kargil township (K/7b horizon), which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in the Kargil Formation of India.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution:

• Oligocene of India (1 collection), Pakistan (1)
