Type specimen: MCZ 3250, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is North of the west fork of the Trinity River, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian terrestrial horizon in Texas.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at North of the west fork of the Trinity River
