Type specimen: WU SILS G 408, a partial skull (partial skull, two iso- lated teeth, and a rib fragment.). Its type locality is Towa Stone Limited, which is in a Messinian/Zanclean marine sandstone in the Senhata Formation of Japan.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Towa Stone Limited
