Type specimen: UNIPAMPA PV 00137, a partial skull. Its type locality is Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian terrestrial sandstone in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba
