Type specimen: NHMW 2001z0033/0001/1, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Hsanda Gol, section SHG-A/18-20, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.

Distribution:

• Oligocene of Mongolia (18 collections)

• Eocene to Oligocene of Turkey (1)
