Type specimen: GU/RSR/VAS-2035 (nearly complete left dentary). Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine (HNB Garhwal University collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Vastan Lignite Mine (HNB Garhwal University collection)
