Sister taxa: Paradelomys crusafonti, Paradelomys ruetimeyeri, Paradelomys spaeleus
Type specimen: IPS82496, a tooth (Right M1–2). Its type locality is Sant Jaume de Frontanyà-1, which is in a Bartonian mire/swamp marl in the Bellmunt Formation of Spain.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Sant Jaume de Frontanyà-1
