Type specimen: IPS-84291, a mandible (Right mandible with teeth P3-M3). Its type locality is Casa Retjo-1 (CR-1), l’Ametlla del Montsec, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial claystone in the Corçà Formation of Spain.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Spain (3 collections)
