Belongs to Licnocephala according to R. A. Fortey and J. S. Peel 1990
Sister taxa: Licnocephala bicornuta, Licnocephala brevicauda, Licnocephala cavigladius, Licnocephala ovata, Licnocephala sanddoelaensis
Type specimen: MGUH 18.959, a pygidium. Its type locality is 'Winterhouses' (GGU 206483), which is in a Tremadocian platform/shelf-margin reef lime mudstone in the Poulsen Cliff Formation of Greenland.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at 'Winterhouses' (GGU 206483)
