Type specimen: AMNH 26079, a partial skeleton (Nearly perfect skull and jaws with much of skeleton). Its type locality is Twin Obo (Ulan Gochu horizon), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Gochu Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Twin Obo (Ulan Gochu horizon)
