Type specimen: IVPP V 16978, a skeleton (Nearly complete skull and skeleton). Its type locality is Jiyangshan, Huabi, which is in a Ladinian offshore limestone in the Falang Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Jiyangshan, Huabi
