Type specimen: IVPP V10720, a mandible (Mandibles). Its type locality is Xishangtuan Coal Mine, which is in an Eocene terrestrial coal in the Wutu Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Xishangtuan Coal Mine
