Type specimen: USNM 546860, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Disbrow Creek, Middle Fork Flathead River (Kishenehn), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.

Distribution: found only at Disbrow Creek, Middle Fork Flathead River (Kishenehn)
