Type specimen: CM 1423, a skull (a nearly complete skull and lower jaws). Its type locality is Agate Springs Quarries, which is in a Harrisonian channel sandstone in the Marsland Formation of Nebraska.

Distribution: found only at Agate Springs Quarries
