Belongs to Hilarimorphites according to D. A. Grimaldi 2016
Sister taxa: Hilarimorphites burmanica, Hilarimorphites longimedia, Hilarimorphites setosa, Hilarimorphites superba, Hilarimorphites yeatesi
Type specimen: JZC Bu-177, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Zigras coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber (Zigras coll)
