Type specimen: AMNH 26291-26293. Its type locality is Chimney Butte, North Mesa, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulan Shireh Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Chimney Butte, North Mesa
