Type specimen: UCM 80385, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is UCM locality 2009063 (Claudia's Place), which is in an Uintan lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Colorado.

Distribution: found only at UCM locality 2009063 (Claudia's Place)
