Type specimen: SM F10698, a shell. Its type locality is Locality 68, Khashm Mawan (Aramco S-1630), which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
