Sister taxa: Oxyporus blumenbachii, Oxyporus impressus, Oxyporus seuberti, Oxyporus stiriacus, Oxyporus vulcanus, Oxyporus yixianus
Type specimen: FMNH INS-3547756, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (FMNH coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber, Kachin amber (FMNH coll)
