Type specimen: UM 1988-89, a cephalon/head (prosoma). Its type locality is Locality 41, Heathcote, which is in a Gorstian marine siltstone in the Yan Yean Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Locality 41, Heathcote
