Sister taxon: Tarachocelis emmarossae
Type specimen: NMS G2010.20.36, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber (National Museums Scotland coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

Distribution: found only at Burmese amber (National Museums Scotland coll)
