Type specimen: NIGP 93713, a shell. Its type locality is Shaiwa section, bed 12, which is in a Kungurian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Sidazhai Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Shaiwa section, bed 12
