Type specimen: NIGP 154089, a shell. Its type locality is Collection 7084, Meyao Section, bed 26, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Nandan Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Collection 7084, Meyao Section, bed 26
