Sister taxa: Masrasector aegypticum, Masrasector ligabuei

Type specimen: CGM 83736 (formerly DPC 11383), a mandible. Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
