Type specimen: ROLM 577, a footprint. Its type locality is Lavini di Marco, Rovereto (colatoio Chemini), which is in a Hettangian peritidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the Monte Zugna Formation of Italy.

Distribution: found only at Lavini di Marco, Rovereto (colatoio Chemini)
