Belongs to Homalaspidella according to R. H. Denison 1963
Sister taxon: Homalaspidella nitida
Type specimen: PU 17101, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Beaver River, which is in a Silurian marine dolomite in Canada.

Distribution:
• Silurian of Canada (2: Northwest Territories, Yukon collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
