Type specimen: ZMNH M6728, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (Zhejiang Museum of Natural History collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (Zhejiang Museum of Natural History collection)
